Sorry to break it out to you guys, but Guild Wars is not this great of a game. All it's based on is 3 things. Equipment, Fighting, and PvP. Nothing else, sorry but after 2 months of gameplay this game gets as boring as hell. Great game, my friend has it, but a question to the expert guild war players... which is of the 3, factions, prophices or nightfall is better? I wanna get factions, but a guy earlier said it's too short and easy... so what do you guys think? This game is okay bcuz u get up to lvl 20 but u pay, but on the plus side this game has sick graphics but if you like PvP or playing with a lot of other new ppl and a ton more then chooses World of Warcraft.

I LOVE this game. At first, the whole personal world thing was really weird coz I had just switched over from WoW. But the personal world idea is GREAT! There is no camping, no people farming kills that you need, and barely any lag. Plus, the graphics beat the hell outa WoW. The best thing is that it has no monthly fee so even casual players like me can play it. This game ROCKS!!!!! Try it!!! Good game and below I read a review about someone starting to play WOW and putting this down. I played wow for like 5 minutes after spending like? 0 just to get it started and I was quite amazed at how bad it was.

I played this game for 6 months and had some awsome lvl 20 characters that were great. But then I bought wow and guild wars sort of transformed into a turd on the ground. I realized that there were mmorpgs that were much better out there. Though if you are on a budget then I would reccomend guild wars. The main complaint I have with guild wars is the none seamless world and how nobody else except you and your party are in the world that are players. The pvp combat in guild wars is top noch and is great and competetive. But the story and pve and stuff are a nightmare to bad it makes up 80%-90% of the game. The reason the pve isn’t any good is the work of the private world you’re in and how it’s not seamless. Then again it is nice to put your nice role-playing character to the test in pvp but the truth is it’s still not worth it.

Alright...I am a mmorpg addict and I have played the 4 most popular mmorpgs. FFXI, Guild wars, World of WArcraft, and the infamous run escape. I've gotta say though Guild wars is by far the best. First off, WOW is a great game. I have an lvl 70 I love it but there is absolutely no story which sucks. FFXI I couldn’t find a group and everyone spoke Japanese...quit at lvl 40. Run escape I played back in like 5th grade hahaa horrible graphics, community, and gameplay...don’t play it. Guild wars is the best game out there, the graphics are crazy good, free to play, great story, great pvp and pve it’s just simply the best. Thanks for answering my questions;] It really helps a lot. I can’t wait to buy this game! The graphics look stunning, and from what I have heard and seen both PvE and Pvp are AMAZING. I’m so glad I’m getting this game tomorrow!!! :)

Well this game just rocks, period. Everything about it is awesome, graphics, gameplay, PvP, endgame missions (my guild leader has a level 20 character and he's been working on the final mission for months and still isn't done), all better than WoW. Plus it's free, so why play WoW when it costs $150 appx. To play it for 10 months when you can spend $30 on Guild Wars and play forever!

This is absolutely the best game I have ever played in my life. There are so many quest that all connect with each other and the graphics r beautiful. There are so many things to do and I love this game s0 much omg... ths game is fairly better than WoW...(in my opinion) mostly bcus its free, but I think the gameplay and graphics r better too. Guild Wars is simply an excellent game, excellent, but not exactly perfect. I bought Guild Wars when it was new in stores, but didn’t have a chance to play it for awhile as my computer was horrible at the time.

Incredible graphics that rival alot of recent console games. Free online play with no monthly subscription. A pretty good helpful community (except for me, im a jerk muahahah). Awesome orchestratic soundtrack. Tons of interesting skills and classes. A character customization process that offers many more choices than a great deal of other MMOs.

Varied gameplay, all you do is kill things (though it still manages to look different) hmmm... I cant think of anything else, though the unvaried gameplay is a great flaw, because after awhile, it will just seem like your doing the same things, over and over again (especially when you’ve already played dozens of other MMO’s). -Beautiful rendered graphics -Great Animation -Lag, I hear well, but I don't get any -Players, well, they're alright

It actually discourages going out for hours upon hours and mindlessly grinding away to get to the next level. Quests can be done easily for the most part and are fun. Since quests often give spells and experience as rewards, you can level up off of them and get stronger for when you DO want to go out and grind. Also great about this game are the graphics, they are without doubt the most amazing of any free MMORPG I've seen to date.
